How to Delete Your Account

Follow these steps to permanently delete your Karry account and remove your data from our platform.

Important Notice

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once you delete your account:

  • All your personal data will be immediately deleted
  • Your trip listings and delivery requests will be removed
  • Your profile, reviews, and ratings will be deleted
  • Any unused credits will be forfeited
  • You won't be able to recover your account or data

Step-by-Step Instructions

Login to Your Account

Open the Karry mobile app and log in with your credentials. Make sure you're using the correct account.

Note: Account deletion can only be done through the mobile app, not the website.

Go to Settings

Navigate to your profile and tap on the "Settings" option. This is usually found in the menu or profile section.

Tip: Look for a gear icon or "Settings" in your profile menu.

Scroll Down to Find "Delete Account"

In the Settings menu, scroll down to find the "Delete Account" option. It's usually located at the bottom of the settings list.

Warning: This option may be labeled as "Close Account" or "Delete Account" depending on your app version.

Confirm Deletion

Tap on "Delete Account" and a confirmation popup will appear. Read the warning carefully and tap "Yes, Delete" to confirm.

Important: This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you want to delete your account.

What Happens to Your Data

Deleted Immediately

  • • Your account profile and settings
  • • Trip listings and delivery requests
  • • Messages and communications
  • • Reviews and ratings you've given
  • • Payment information (stored securely)
  • • App preferences and settings

Deleted After 1 Month

  • • Identity verification data
  • • Documents used for verification
  • • Third-party verification records

Note: Identity verification data is handled by third-party providers and may take up to 30 days to be completely removed from their systems.

Troubleshooting

Can't find the "Delete Account" option?

Make sure you're using the latest version of the Karry app and check these locations:

  • Profile → Settings → Account Management
  • Menu → Account Settings → Privacy & Security
  • Profile → Privacy → Account Deletion

If you still can't find it, contact our support team.

Confirmation not working?

If the confirmation popup isn't working:

  • Make sure you're tapping "Yes, Delete" button
  • Try closing and reopening the app
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection
  • Check if your app is up to date

Account still appears after deletion?

If you can still see your account after deletion:

  • Wait a few minutes for the deletion to process
  • Log out and log back in to refresh your session
  • Clear your app cache and data
  • Contact support if the issue persists
